If you haven't the time, access to a PC or want the convenience of accurate assessments sent daily, directly to your mobile phone or via your telephone, we have a tipping service.

We have been assessing races and building up a database of the SSR132 program's performance since we started in 1994.

We now have much more confidence in the program's performance and think we have found a way to minimise the outside effects on race outcomes. By checking 144,000 previous assessed races, we have found those courses, horses, trainers, jockeys and owners whose performance is predictable. They may not be the top in their group, but the program has found that they win a good percentage of the time in relation to their odds when the program predicts they could or should.

We use the same algorythms used in the SSR132 program on the day's declarations to get a list of all the horses running that day and their speed ratings using current form, the best of the last three runs. We then search the database for all those horses, trainer, jockeys, owners and all the combinations that have been correctly predicted to win more than a certain number of times and more than a certain percentage of the time. Each days racing assessment goes for the maximum number on both those values.

We cannot wave a magic wand but what we give you is a list of horses that have 1) good current performance, 2) a good history of accurate predictions on the horse, jockey, trainer or owner's winners. Altogether, a group of horses that are CAPABLE of winning and the team involved in that horse have history of doing the same. We can't say they will win, but they stand a good chance of winning or being well placed.

Look at the assessments. Look at the odds and the competition. If you think the odds are good value, have a bet. Cover any, none or all depending on the odds. We cannot make the final decision whether to bet or not, but all the donkey work have been done for you. Don't forget, it is easier to slow a fast horse down than to speed up a slow one.

With the type of horses selected. Betfair gives much better odds. Over the last year, with a level win bet, normal bookies would have given 2%-3% profit over the last year, Betfair gave 32%, even using late odds. I do far better than that. (Figures from Tipping League)

One of my customers, who wishes to remain anonymous, placed a Lucky 15 accumulator in an Essex betting shop on Saturday 10 January 2004. The Clacton businessman picked up his cheque for £34,528.46 on the Monday. I had a very good day too. We just might be able to wave a magic wand sometimes!

The call takes less than a minute and costs £1.50 from any UK phone. It may cost more if you call from abroad, call boxes, hotel phones or some mobiles. I'll give the course, time, number and name of each horse and repeat them for you.

The message is normally updated by 11:00hrs BST, when there are UK and Irish races that day.

2) If you cannot access premium rate services from your phone or you just want to receive the text messages to your mobile phone (or text enabled landline) daily, automatically.

at about 3-4pm the day before the race, we can organise that for you. We can e-mail the tips as well if you wish for no extra charge. This service now only costs £14.99 per month. We take all the usual plastic, you can set up a PayPal subscription (to simplesoftware@talktalkbusiness.net ) or we can arrange a standing order for your bank if you wish.

What Equipment do you need?

For the text messages, you will need mobile phone/PDA that can receive the normal text, Short Message System (SMS) messages, on any vendor, (O2, Vodafone, Orange, etc.) on any tariff. Your mobile company may make an extra charge for the international part of the route. If you are on holiday and want to suspend the daily messages, give me a ring or e-mail me. We can also send the messages to non UK mobiles abroad.
